Petr comes from a musical family. His began his music education at the Prague Conservatory and continued later at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where he studied under Professor René Tucek.
During his academic studies in Prague, Petr also completed a year internship in Dresden, studying under Professor Matthias Weichert at the Hochschule fur Musik Carl Maria von Weber.
He collaborated with Prof. Ralf Doring on master-classes in Baden, near Vienna. He is the winner of several international awards, including the International Singing Competition of Antonin Dvorak and the British competition, the Anglo – Czechoslovak Trust.
For several seasons he was a soloist with the FX Salda Theater in Liberec as well as making guest appearances at the Prague State Opera.
Currently he is focusing mainly on concert evens and cooperation with the excellent conductor, Haig Utidjijan, with whom he studied many Czech and foreign works.
Petr Sejpal is also a sought – after interpreter of songs, and he performs regularly in Germany, especially in Bayreuth in the North of Bavaria.
His repertoire is very broad, ranging from the of arias W. A. Mozart, including a repertoire of core operas, songs and oratorio ranging from the nineteenth century, to modern – day music.
